Soundscape Loudmouth // Installation & Performance // 2024

Sound as an art form resonates beyond expected borders to the unnoticed sonic relationship with the surroundings. Artists focus on the connections between sound and the theme of “magnifying the aural imagination” in the context of communities. The installation set and performance in the Lab showcased the found materials that paved a narrative form for visitors to experience the aural flow and process of interaction.

Through listening and observing, two teams of artists have collected sound and objects in the community of Tai Kok Tsui. From the hidden corner where the invisible connections maintaining the growth of energy among the individuals and communities, artists had revealed the ambient sound and stories in the dense district.
