REST // 2019 // 65m11s // Documentary

If community art begins with individuals and moves beyond debates about artistic meaning, creation becomes a means of connecting people, with individuals coming together to form a collective whole. Community reconstruction involves the redistribution of interests, yet residents often lose their voice in the process and are left to accept decisions made for them. In response, some artists engage with communities to unite residents and stakeholders, encouraging participation, collective imagination, and greater control over the rebuilding of their homes. In the film, artists and craftsmen act as facilitators, working closely with residents through various forms of collaboration. Their efforts strengthen community connections and transform a largely negative situation into a more active and participatory process.

In a record of court judgements depicts a criminal case of murder in 2012, in Hong Kong. The record explained details of continually chopping and cutting are as similar as the slaughters happened in this city, day to day, moment to moment. The actions are well designed and the punches are extremely rhythmical. The neighbourhoods live around the site(s) who can barely maintain their daily routine. However, the neighbourhoods will not forget the details of what they have seen and heard. Eventually their memories will become some kind of power.
NUTTY WOODPECKER // 2015 // 8m51s // Hybrid-Documentary

This hybrid interactive installation/exhibition showcased 10 local artists collaborating with 9 international contemporary composers from Europe and other parts of the world. Visitors could take a ride on a miniature physical rover/hover vehicle for an interactive tour of the techno-planet landscape through the dedicated website or mobile app.
The three-minute, three-screen video work is based on the theme of water. The surface tension of water causes droplets to pull together into a spherical form and resist spreading. Surface tension stabilizes a fluid, preventing it from breaking up into smaller droplets. These properties are interchangeable metaphors within the work. The actions performed by the man were cushioned against physical shock, protected from compression, and maintained within a stable flow that enabled free movement.
